This role provides essential administrative support across the Alumni and Supporter Engagement and wider Development and Alumni Relations and Engagement team to increase alumni involvement and charitable giving to the University. You will have day to day contact with alumni on the phone and on email and will provide a great service to all our alumni requests. You will support the alumni team with events, such as graduations, and in the delivery of engagement and donor programmes which support our goals and objectives.
The PersonWe are looking for great communicator with exceptional organisational skills. You will be able to demonstrate your high-level written and verbal communication skills. You will have the ability to multitask and manage your own workload. You will have significant attention to detail and be able to demonstrate your proactive, forward thinking and solution focused nature. This role will build on your communication, organisation and interpersonal skills in a professional environment.
Directorate/FunctionKingston University's Development, Alumni Relations and Engagement (DARE) team is responsible for supporting the delivery of the University's strategic goals through raising philanthropic income and managing relationships with alumni, supporters and other stakeholders. We have a growing and ambitious programme of fundraising, focussing on major giving, trusts and foundations, and an established individual giving portfolio (including telephone campaigns and crowdfunding). We create lifelong value for our former students and develop relationships with our alumni for the benefit of current students delivering a programme of alumni volunteering, communications and events.
Further informationThis is a part-time fixed term position (6 months) with a starting salary of £15,208.20 per annum (60% pro rata to £25,347.00).
