    About the Role

    As the Designer: Audio Visual/ Multimedia Production (AU Course Development) you will provide specialist support in multimedia resource design, working collaboratively with staff of the University of South Australia (UniSA) and The University of Adelaide (UoA) to support the development of course content for programs within the new curriculum for Adelaide University (AU).

    Core Responsibilities

  • Provide advice on relevant multimedia design options to academics and TIU/LEI Learning Designers.
  • Develop high quality audio visual/multimedia teaching and learning products suitable for course delivery.
  • Research and implement changes to production methods and techniques that will improve efficiency and effectiveness of the performance of the products.
  • Negotiate and liaise with staff, suppliers, resources and technical teams to reach agreement on schedules and to gain cooperation or participation in an activity to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Facilitate all aspects of audio visual/multimedia production, including design, creation, work planning, scheduling, recording (studio and on location), editing, mastering, duplication and content management.
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience developing multimedia resources for online education contexts with a qualification in a related field such as multimedia, graphic design, film, animation and web-design.
  • Demonstrated capacity to design, create and implement high quality multimedia products for online and blended models of teaching, including web design and maintenance.
  • Experience in project management processes for developing multimedia learning resources.
  • Experience in providing audio visual/multimedia advice to teaching staff or other clients, problem solving and providing options to clients.
  • Demonstrated experience with industry standard video editing software such as Adobe Suite, FinalCut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve.
