About the Role Join Swinburne University of Technology as the Deputy University Secretary, providing essential secretariat support to the Academic Senate and the University's controlled entities. Collaborate with the Council Secretary to ensure smooth operations during peak demands and absences as they support Council and Council sub-committees.
As the Deputy University Secretary, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our subsidiary companies and Academic Senate by coordinating annual work plans and meetings, facilitating communication, and maintaining accurate records and minutes. Collaborate closely with Company Chairs, the Chair of Academic Senate and Senior Leaders to promote transparency, strong governance, compliance, and effective decision-making.

About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Qualifications Degree or post graduate qualification in a relevant field such as business administration, finance or law.
