Oxford University Department for Continuing Education (OUDCE) is seeking to appoint a part-time tutor to teach our online courses, Greek Mythology and Fall of Rome.

About the role

Greek Mythology and Fall of Rome are accredited short online courses with Greek Mythology running up to three times a year and Fall of Rome running up to twice a year. They are taught asynchronously, with interaction taking place via text-based forums. Tutors' duties include teaching online, preparing weekly video messages, marking and providing feedback on coursework, as well as dealing with administrative tasks relevant to the course.

This is a part-time (0.34FTE) position, available on a permanent/fixed-term contract.

About you

You will be well-qualified academically with experience of teaching and researching at a university level. Candidates with a background in archaeology and ancient history are particularly welcome.
