We value and recognise our own and the contribution of others, creating a great culture to work in and a place where we all feel we belong.   As Delivery Manager you will facilitate the delivery of infrastructure initiatives (with a focus on the Microsoft 365 platform) coordinating resources, implementing agile practices, and maximising the value of investment in technologies.   What We Offer As an employer, we genuinely care about our employees’ wellbeing and this is reflected in the range of benefits that we offer including:

About the Role The role of Delivery Manager is to ensure the successful and effective delivery of products and services, either through defined project work or continuous improvement. The University of Oxford is a federated organisation, with core IT and Digital services delivered by IT Services alongside departmental, college and divisional IT functions. The Delivery Manager (Infrastructure) will play a key role in coordinating people, resources and technology to maximise investment in Microsoft technologies across the University’s federated model. This is a varied and collaborative role requiring strong agile delivery experience, with responsibility for planning and organising work, breaking down complex requirements into manageable deliverables, managing priorities, dependencies and capacity, and ensuring a clear and sustainable flow of work across the team.   You will build trust, motivate and empower the team to deliver effectively, while understanding its current level of agile maturity and adapting your approach to Oxford’s delivery model and federated environment. You will champion effective agile ways of working, supporting continuous improvement in planning, prioritisation, delivery flow and team effectiveness. You will also manage risks and dependencies, monitor budgets and resources, and build strong relationships across the University to ensure services are delivered efficiently, securely and with a strong focus on user needs.   About You You’ll be an experienced Delivery Manager, Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master with strong agile delivery experience and a proven track record of delivering technology and digital infrastructure initiatives in complex organisations. You’ll understand how to balance competing priorities, plan and break down work effectively, and adapt delivery approaches to suit different environments. You’ll be comfortable maintaining a clear and prioritised delivery board, ensuring team members have meaningful work while managing risks, dependencies and resources. You’ll also be able to understand a team’s current maturity and work effectively within Oxford’s delivery model, providing the right level of structure, challenge and support to help teams deliver successfully.   You’ll be an excellent communicator with strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to coach teams, influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across organisational boundaries. Building trust and motivating teams will be central to your approach, helping people work collaboratively, take ownership and continuously improve how they deliver. Experience with Microsoft technologies, Azure DevOps, IT service management or higher education would be an advantage, but above all we’re looking for someone who thrives on delivering meaningful change through collaboration, innovation and a user-centred approach.   Application Process To apply, please upload:
