  • About the Role

    As the first point of contact for prospective UniSA Online students, you will deliver high quality customer service by providing professional, timely and accurate information about programs and potential career outcomes, raising the profile of UniSA Online along the way.

    With a direct reporting line to the Team Leader: Student Recruitment & Admissions, you will respond to queries, provide information, and convert prospective student leads into enrolled UniSA Online students within a high touch, customer centric sales environment.

    In addition, you will display enthusiasm and passion for raising tertiary aspiration and assisting prospective students in achieving their educational goals.

    UniSA Online was established as a key project as part of the University's Digital Learning Strategy. UniSA Online offers fully online degrees purposely designed for study on demand, 24/7 student support, and access to state of the art teaching and learning resources through an interactive online platform.

    The UniSA Online unit, reporting to the Provost & Chief Academic Officer, delivers high quality, supportive, flexible and interactive online education for students, and embodies the corporate values of innovation, client service and academic excellence.

    Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality customer service to prospective UniSA Online students
  • Respond to prospective student enquiries in line with templates and established practices
  • Conduct outbound campaigns via phone, email and online (form and chat)
  • Effectively guide a prospective student through the application process, using a case management and quality customer service approach
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of prospective student details into the CRM and all other systems relevant to the admissions process
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a sales related environment with a focus on achieving targets and client service management
  • Demonstrated provision of high quality, responsive customer service with excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner (clear voice, good listening and courteous engagement)
  • Routinely demonstrating initiative, ability to problem-solve and sound organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise between conflicting demands to meet deadlines
  • Broadly ranged administrative skills including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of software (including Microsoft Outlook), accurate data entry abilities, and knowledge of web-based systems with the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
