As a Data & Voice Network Engineer, you will be responsible for day-to-day workload management, delivery and operational support of Data & Voice Network Services working closely with the Data & Voice Network Specialists and the Network Manager to ensure that the Data & Voice services and solutions proposed and implemented are fully supported with minimal impact to the wider infrastructure at the University. You will play a key role in ensuring that new, existing, and related Data & Voice Network technologies are fully supported and are highly available, reliable, and secure services are provided.
The PersonThis is a hands-on role, which would ideally suit someone who is forward- thinking, innovative, curious, high-energy, self-aware, who is passionate about making a positive difference, and who thrives in an inclusive and diverse university community. Ideally, you will have experience of working in mature environments where you have been involved in supporting a large-scale Network Infrastructure within a complex organisation.

Information and Technology Services provides and supports digital services and facilities for students and staff to enable learning, teaching, research and administration. Our key functions are to innovate, implement and support an extensive range of digital services across the University to assist our community access and process information to achieve their goals.

Further informationThis is a full time, fixed term position until 31st May 2025 with a starting salary of £37,646 per annum.
