Salary: £41,250 - £45,139 per annum (Starting salary to be confirmed on offer of appointment), plus £2,000 per annum training budget
Project Title: Development of enhanced Mobility as a Service market solutions with predictive analytics capability for transport and mobility data enabling understanding of customer behaviours.
About the project
In collaboration with Worldline, the department of computer science at Loughborough University has been awarded a 24 month Knowledge Transfer Partnership, funded by UKRI Innovate UK.
Worldline delivers digital transaction services for the financial, petrol/energy, travel and hospitality industries including trusted global payment and mobility booking services.
This project will enable Worldline to generate predictive analytics capability for transport and mobility data enabling a better understanding of customer behaviours through enhanced mobility as a service (MaaS) market solutions.
About you / the role
The successful candidate will develop academically rigorous solutions that will enable Worldline to deliver evidence-based enhanced services to travelling customers. They will be provided with appropriate training and access to facilities from Loughborough University, Worldline and other parties as appropriate. There will be opportunities to present at academic and industry conferences (Transport Ticketing Global, IT-TRANS, etc.) as the output of this research will have wider industry benefits.
The KTP Associate will be based primarily at Worldline's UK headquarters in Beeston, Nottingham and will also spend some time at Loughborough University with the academic team. The Associate will have the opportunity to work at a strategic level within the organisation with the support of the Academic team from the Loughborough University. The Academic team comprises of Dr Asma Adnane and Professor Iain Phillips.
