  • About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analytics Manager within Swinburne University.

    As the Data Analytics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of Swinburne's data strategy in alignment with Horizon's 2025 strategic objectives. We are seeking a visionary leader to implement our data strategy program, foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, and solve complex challenges with powerful insights.

    As a Data Analytics Manager, you will implement Swinburne's data strategy program and work with key stakeholders enterprise-wide to map their data journeys in line with Swinburne's strategic priorities. The role will bring to life a seamless data analytics agenda geared towards solving our most complex business challenges with powerful business insights. You will encourage a shift in the organisational culture to mature our data analytics capability and provide a single source of truth, supporting decisions with trusted empirical evidence that is visible widely.

    About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

    • Demonstrated skills with change management concepts and strategies in data, including communication and successfully embedding change to lift data maturity. • Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing complex, multi-year data and analytics transformation projects. • Highly developed stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to establish strong working relationships at an executive and senior level. • Demonstrated background as a successful Program Manager/Delivery Lead in managing complex data analytics programs in a medium-sized, diverse organisation. • Solid understanding in both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices. • Experience leading data analytics teams, developing people, and building high performing teams.

    Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Data/Information Systems or related discipline. • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
