  • Kingston School of Art is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Photography Workshop Technician, who has extensive knowledge of a wide range of darkroom and digital processes and techniques and can provide professional technical support in B&W printing, Colour printing, film processing, digital imaging skills and experience in post production, scanning, printing.

    The Photography Workshop Technician role involves daily responsibilities of supporting, managing and maintaining areas, ensuring Health and Safety regulations are always in place.

    The Person

    The successful candidate will have the appropriate technical skills to operate professional darkroom and digital machinery and equipment, providing demonstration and inductions to a range of processes and techniques to students and staff.

    Above all else, we are looking for a multi-skilled, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual, with a creative mind, solid work ethic, friendly and welcoming approach who can work flexibly within the Photography Workshop technical team.

    This is a permanent, part time position working 14.8 hours per week with a starting salary of £12,909 per annum (40% pro rata to £32,271 per annum).
