Responsibilities:
The KNOW MORE Graduate Student Worker will manage a variety of tasks
related to the adminstration of the KNOW MORE education and prevention
programming area within the Dean of Students Office. This position will
work with the Assistant Dean of Students to plan small and large scale
educational programs each semester around the topics of alcohol and other
drugs, bystander intervention, and sexual violence prevention. The KNOW
MORE Graduate student worker will assist in the management of the KNOW
MORE Peer Educator student group, as well as social media content
development and management. The KNOW MORE Graduate Student Worker will
also assist with other Student Services programming including but not
limited to the Dare to Care initiative and New Student Orientation.
Qualifications:
Be a good role model to students, practice confidentiality and discretion
as defined by the Dean of Students Office, and attend all formal trainings
and meetings.
Some evening and weekend availability will be required.
Must be currently enrolled in a graduate program at Seton Hall University.
Knowledge and passion for prevention education of alcohol and other drugs,
sexual violence prevention, and bystander intervention strongly preferred.
