Location: Assurance Directorate, Wellington Square, Oxford

Salary: £48,235 - £62,407 per annum

Contract: Permanent

The University of Oxford are looking to recruit a Cyber Security Specialist. You'll be part of an Information Security Team, focusing on governance, risk management, and compliance. The Information Security (InfoSec) team provides services to the collegiate University to support a unified and collaborative approach to reducing risks to personal information, research data and operational systems.

    • Implementing and maintaining the information security policy framework.

    • Conducting regular audits and compliance checks.

    • Providing expert advice and training on information security practices.

    • Creating reports on risk and compliance for senior stakeholders.

    • Delivering information security education and awareness programs.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in managing information security activities or risk within a complex environment.

    • Knowledge of industry-standard frameworks (ISO 27001/27002, PCI-DSS, Cyber Essentials, NIST).

    • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Relevant qualifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCP).
