    The Student Central Directorate at CQUniversity, including Course Management, is essential in supporting our diverse student community throughout their academic journey, leading to positive graduate outcomes. As a Course Adviser, you will be responsible for ensuring that students receive comprehensive support services from enrolment to graduation.

    Course Management are skilled in university systems and course requirements, enabling them to respond to student enquiries and offer accurate academic planning. They remain accessible to students throughout their studies, committed to guiding them from start to finish, with the goal of ensuring a smooth progression toward graduation.

    In this role, you will use your excellent communication skills to meet the needs of our students, providing specialised advice to both Vocational and Higher Education current students. You will leverage your understanding of course accreditation, legislation, and University policies to plan course work, guide academic progression, and assess eligibility for course completion. Your role also involves providing continuous support by maintaining ongoing contact with students throughout their academic journey, handling general administrative tasks and collaborating with educator and College Staff.

  • Knowledge in the use of large corporate information systems, web browsers, email software, Microsoft suite office programs, customer relationship systems and quality standards and processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of CQUniversity's courses and policies/procedures and current legislative guidelines.
  • Outstanding oral, written and online communication skills with diverse student cohorts.
  • A relevant degree with at least four years' experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in an administrative field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training.
