To provide professional administrative and coordination skills in the implementation of all phases and activities of the School of Social Work Office of Academic and Student Affairs. Responsible for assisting the Assistant Dean of Academic and Student Affairs with hiring, training, onboarding, and providing ongoing professional development for instructional faculty.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates programs to support faculty.
  • Assists with onboarding process for new full-time and contingent faculty. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Providing training on university policies and procedures.
  • Facilitating access to necessary teaching materials (e.g., textbooks, updated syllabi, course shells, master course materials).
  • Assists with developing and implementing a professional development training program for faculty.

  • Assists with oversight and review of master course shells and syllabi.
  • Performs related duties as required.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree OR High School Diploma and two years experience in a related field.
  • Advanced skills and expertise with MS Word and Excel.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Canvas or equivalent online learning management system.
  • Experience in higher education.
