We are seeking an experienced Commercial Leasing Coordinator to join our
dynamic Properties, Facilities and Development (PF&D) team in a newly
created role. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in the tertiary
sector on a diverse portfolio of owned and tenanted properties across Western
Australia, including retail (F&B), commercial, office, specialised research,
telcos, and sports associations to name a few.
What You'll Do
Negotiate and prepare leasing agreements for new and existing tenants,
including bespoke leases, agreements for lease, and licenses, working
closely with internal & external legal.
Develop strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
to deliver effective leasing and property management outcomes.
Produce high-quality corporate reports, presentations, guidelines,
briefing memos, financial forecasts, and commercial analyses to support
decision-making.
Assist the Commercial Manager as needed, including property leasing,
acquisitions, disposals, and risk management.
Provide property management support to the team which may include tenant
administration and resolving operational issues.
Support the project management of retail fit-outs and other property-
related initiatives.
About You
You are an experienced professional with a background in commercial and/or
retail leasing, ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic and collaborative
team. To be successful in the role, you will have:
Strong knowledge and experience within commercial and/or retail leasing,
property management, and contract negotiation, including proficiency in
legal documentation for bespoke commercial leases.
Excellent interpersonal and commercial analysis skills to assist the
Commercial Manager negotiate and manage contracts, related issues and
stakeholders for new and existing tenancies.
Demonstratable knowledge of the commercial risks and financial aspects of
a leasing portfolio.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple and
often competing tasks.
Strong Microsoft Office 365 and numeracy skills, with a demonstratable
ability to provide concise and well-presented reports and financial
analysis for leadership review.
Proven ability to work well in a team.
Demonstrated effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to collect and interpret data.
