Commercial and Operations Analytical Lead (KTP)

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and curious individual to lead an exciting Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project in collaboration with Arville Textiles Ltd, an innovative, forward-thinking industry-leading specialist manufacturer of advanced textile solutions, known for their agility, expertise and customer-centric approach.

This 30-month project offers a unique opportunity to work closely with Arville, based in their Headquarters in Wetherby, and a supportive, cross-disciplinary academic team from Leeds Beckett. Together, you will embed a Commercial and Operational Transformation Strategy, connecting commercial insight with operational priorities, helping Arville make better, faster decisions that support margin-led, sustainable growth.

We encourage applications from a self-starter with excellent project management and communication skills, who comes with a strong background in business analytics, process improvement or digital marketing. Building connections amongst a dynamic team at Arville will set the project for success, so evidencing a proactive, agile approach with a willingness to learn is important for the project delivery.

About Arville Textiles Ltd

Established in 1951 as a family-owned business, Arville has built a world-wide reputation in their advanced technical textiles sector for expertise, experience and quality. They work in partnership with large multinationals and significant specialist companies across global OEM supply chains, including defence, aerospace and automative sectors.

The Person

This is a unique role spanning commercial and operational optimisation, necessarily underpinned by change management to embed new ways of working. As such, applicants need to demonstrate the ability to balance structured thinking with flexibility and responsiveness to change. The role will also require excellent project management skills, data analysis with the ability to lead and drive objectives through strong interpersonal skills and effective stakeholder engagement.

If you would like to find out more about this role we plan to hold an online information session on Teams Eventbrite link is here: Arville Information Session

Closing date: Thursday 19th November 2026 (23:59)

We welcome applications from all individuals and particularly from black and minority ethnic candidates as members of these groups are currently under-represented at this level of post. All appointments will be based on merit.

Leeds Beckett University is a Disability Confident Employer. Disabled candidates who demonstrate all essential criteria within the Person Specification will be invited to an interview.
