Salary: £26,444 to £29,605 plus £5269 London weighting per annum Contract Type: Fixed Term - This is being advertised as a fixed term role until 31st December 2024 whilst the existing role holder is on secondment to another team. Our Information and Library Services Directorate delivers award winning IT services and support, library, academic and digital skills and learning enhancement to staff and students across the university. Our digital mission is to ensure everyone in our community is equipped to effectively use digital services, data and technology with confidence, efficiency and creativity in their learning, teaching, research and organisational support.

The role is based in the Collections Team at Stockwell Street Library and will support the acquisition and management of library resources in all formats, including books, journals, databases and other licensed materials. The successful candidate will have responsibility for maintaining up-to-date records on the ULMS including order information and bibliographic metadata as well as updating subscription and holdings information on our discovery knowledge base.

Applicants should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to successfully work with and influence senior stakeholders, be able to develop and maintain relationships with third party providers/suppliers, be accomplished problem solvers and have demonstrable experience of all the aforementioned activities.
