The VP for Community and Inclusion is seeking Co Chair's for the University of Bath's Equality Diversity and Inclusion Network (EDIN).

You will be provided with an adjustment to workload allocation of 160 hours. There will be opportunities for professional development, including networking opportunities to learn from others working in this area from across the sector. This is a three year appointment (renewable once) with a review after first year.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the EDIN, chairing regular meetings for the network, updating the terms of reference and ensuring each department is effectively represented whilst ensuring diversity of representation on the network.
  • Acting as an ambassador for EDI, allowing network members to escalate matters of concern, sharing best practice, and taking recommendations to Equality Diversity Inclusion Committee and/or the newly formed Community and Inclusion Operational Steering Group (CIOSG).

    Preference is for a Co Chair's arrangement whereby one is representing Academia and one is representing professional services.
