    The Opportunity

Unlock your potential in Medical Education with the Clinical Skills Educator position at Eastern Health Clinical School (EHCS). Take charge of coordinating the development, delivery and evaluation of cutting-edge training for our medical student Clinical Skills Program.

This position involves collaboration with administrative, academic and teaching staff to deliver the clinical skills curriculum requirements for medical students placed at EHCS. There is ample opportunity to expand on the innovations implemented in the past few years including a focus on patient safety and inter-professional learning.

The role extends beyond the classroom, involving liaison with administrative staff, academics and clinical teachers. As well as direct hands-on teaching, the CSE will contribute to relevant EHCS and University Faculty planning and operational committees, sharing your wealth of knowledge and expertise to enhance the training delivered to medical students in their clinical years. From facilitating engaging face-to-face sessions in the classroom or simulation lab to sharing ideas with like-minded colleagues, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionizing medical education.

Your expertise will not only elevate the learning experience for medical students but also oversee simulation and clinical skills teaching equipment. Our team embraces a culture of continuous improvement, where your contributions will be valued. Opportunities for professional development are available.

We are seeking an organised individual with a degree qualification in a relevant clinical field and extensive relevant clinical education experience, preferably with skills in simulation based education.

This position could be a part-time job-sharing role, both contributing equally across all responsibilities and we look forward to receiving your application.
