The Opportunity
The Transfusion Research Unit is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Research Associate to lead critical research operations for the internationally recognized RATIONALISE and RATIONAL Platform trials. Supported by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), these trials focus on infection prevention and optimizing immunoglobulin (Ig) use in patients with blood cancers. By joining us, you will help fill crucial evidence gaps and contribute to improved immunoglobulin strategies for this vulnerable population.
The Clinical Research Associate will manage diverse responsibilities essential to these trials' success: setting up hospital sites, training site staff, conducting data monitoring and quality control and preparing regulatory documentation. You will also handle Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) applications, clinical trial contracts and coordinate site and investigator meetings.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in a relevant field, a current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification and possess extensive clinical research or trial management experience. Your proven ability to oversee high- quality research services, maintain operational excellence and provide specialist advice will also make you a valued member of our team. Prior clinical trial monitoring experience will also be highly regarded.
If you're passionate about clinical research and ready to make a difference, apply today to be a part of advancing transfusion research and patient care outcomes.
