This is an outstanding opportunity for a suitably qualified person to join the Bond University Health and Wellness Clinic at an exciting time of growth and development.
The primary purpose of the position is to lead, direct and manage the Psychology operations and activities associated with the practical aspects of professional training in Psychology for postgraduate students. Responsibilities of the position also include developing and maintaining client referrals, organising student placements within the network of local agencies, contributing to postgraduate students meeting their professional graduate competencies, and promoting the Psychology Clinic within the community.
The position reports to the Head of School of Psychology, with a secondary reporting line to the Faculty Business Director for operational resourcing and budgeting matters.
About the person
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent leadership skills, hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, including a minimum of two years’ work experience as a practicing Psychologist as well as professional qualifications in all the following:
- Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
- Full membership (or eligibility) with the Australian Psychological Society (APS);
- Clinical Psychology endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA)
- Approval as a supervising Psychologist by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA)
Salary details
The salary range for this full-time position is $126,878.94 to $149,761.23 per annum, commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience, plus 12% superannuation.
