Clinic Co-Ordinator (Part Time, Fixed Term)

Applications are invited for a 24 month part time Clinic Coordinator position within the Barker lab (with possible extension subject to funding). The group works at the interface of clinical and laboratory science, aiming to better understand the clinical heterogeneity of Huntington's disease.

The successful candidate will co-ordinate the efficient running of the Huntington's Disease NHS Clinic, and related clinical research projects within the Barker group in order to ensure smooth running of these projects. This will involve managing participant research visit appointments and room bookings, supporting clinical and research staff, and overseeing administration related to relevant studies, to ensure that projects are delivered in a timely way. The post will also include administrative responsibilities to support clinical trials within the group.

The post holder will work within a close clinical and scientific team of clinical trial coordinators, doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers and clinicians. They will be expected to work in a team environment and to support and contribute to other related collaborative projects.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
