Research And Innovation Services Professional & Business Support Grade 7 - £38,205 to £42,978 dependent on experience

The Role

Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) has a proud history of driving regional social and economic development. Organisations from diverse sectors choose to collaborate with us because of our flexible, innovation-driven approach, cutting-edge research, state-of-the-art facilities, and talented staff and students.

Our proven success in fostering innovation is why Sheffield Hallam has been selected to spearhead the South Yorkshire Innovation Programme (SYIP). This ambitious initiative is a powerful collaboration between SHU (as the lead partner), the University of Sheffield, and Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council, with £3 million in backing from SYMCA. Co-designed with the region's four Local Authorities, SYIP is poised to transform how businesses in the area engage with and benefit from innovation.

By building on our strong track record of delivering impactful innovation, SYIP will drive innovation-led growth across the region. This role places you right at the core of SYIP, serving as the key connector between SHU, our delivery partners, and beneficiaries. You'll work across both universities and all four Local Authorities to ignite engagement and inspire collaboration.

This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for someone with a passion for connecting people and creating meaningful change.
