Clerk I in the Centre for Comparative Medicine Research (Ref.: 526049) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

The Centre for Comparative Medicine Research is a rapidly expanding, AAALAC International accredited, academic research-support centre of the LKS Faculty of Medicine at HKU. We are committed to the provision of high-quality laboratory animals, well-equipped animal holding facilities, and professional services to support the leading role of HKU in research and teaching. We are seeking various talents and offer excellent staff training and long-term development opportunities. With a team comprising scientists, veterinarians, registered Laboratory Animal and Medical Laboratory Technologists, and over 100 highly trained and dedicated staff, we strive to promote the humane and excellent care and use of laboratory animals in the university. Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree/Associate Degree/Higher Diploma, preferably with 3-4 years' work experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, strong computer literacy (especially in Excel and Powerpoint) and the ability to perform multi-tasks.

Duties include event coordination, project management and human resource management.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
