Clerk I in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 524653) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' work experience, preferably in an education setting. For non-degree holders, at least 10 years of relevant working experience is required. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, hands-on experience in handling data with Excel, the ability to work independently with initiative, good logical thinking as well as organisational and communication skills. The appointee will provide administrative support to the operations and administration of the Department, and perform any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
