Clerk I/II in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 525742) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, with a minimum of 5 years' clerical experience. Experience in healthcare organisations will be an advantage. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including both Cantonese and Putonghua); effective communication, organizational and problem-solving skills; and proficiency in IT (e.g. English and Chinese Word processing, MS Excel and PowerPoint). Those with less experience or lower qualifications may be appointed as Clerk II.

The appointee will provide clerical support to the Assisted Reproduction Programme at the University's teaching hospitals. Working outside normal office hours may be required.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries. The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
