Clerk I/II in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 524070) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year's work experience. Those with 5 passes including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics in HKCEE, or min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with substantial experience and a track record of secretarial or administrative experience in tertiary institutions may also be considered. They should be detail-oriented, self- motivated, responsible and able to work independently, with an excellent command of English and Chinese. Experience and/or interest in project coordination, customer services, human resources and financial management would be advantageous. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply. The appointee will provide support to a research group on a wide range of matters including human resources, financial management, research administration, office management, logistics support for subjects recruitment and events. He/She will also liaise with internal and external parties, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
