Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531148) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis or one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years' solid work experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions or other public organizations. They should have a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English (including Putonghua); a strong sense of responsibility; and good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. They should also be self-motivated, attentive to details, able to handle multiple tasks and work independently and in a team. Experience in research administration would be an advantage.
The appointee will provide support to research team; assist in administration, clinical trial coordination, EC document preparation (e.g. protocol translation), publications, event/project management; and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed-term basis will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
