Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute, School of Public Health (Ref.:530094) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have 5 passes in HKCEE or combination of highly specialized training or education and in-depth experience to perform very complex tasks, with at least 5 years' relevant experience; OR a good Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years' work experience, preferably in the higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization. They should have knowledge and experience of office administration and external communication. They should have an excellent command of English and Chinese; good organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; a high level of computer/paper document processing efficiency; good teamwork; the ability to efficiently multi-task; and the capacity for independent action and initiative. Experience in handling administrative matters, video editing and website management would be an advantage. Applicants with less work experience or fresh graduates with good academic backgrounds will be considered for the position of Clerk II.
The appointee will provide support to the senior management team of the Institute in various areas including general office administration, human resources, finance administration, secretarial, project management and event organization, liaison with internal and external stakeholders, and perform any other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.
