Clerk I/II (holding the functional title of Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant) in the Centre for Civil Society and Governance (Ref.: 531036)

Applicants should have a good Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year' full- time work experience in office and teaching programme administration. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good communication and organizational skills; a good teamwork attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. A good knowledge of and skills in computer and web applications (including MS Office, WordPress and video-conferencing software) is preferred. Those with work experience in tertiary institutions and on sustainability issues would have an advantage.

The appointee will work with other administrators and be responsible for providing administrative support to the Centre and its academic programmes, projects and events. Duties include, but not limited to, office management, admissions and enrolment, student affairs, event organisation, social media management and general IT support. Multitasking skills are important and working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be occasionally required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

What We Offer The appointment will commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
