The University of Brighton is looking to recruit new cleaners at our Brighton City Campus.

Our Cleaners work flexibly as part of a friendly team and play a key role in ensuring a pleasant environment for staff and students. We currently have the following vacancies available:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • To possess an ability to work alone or as a member of a team.
  • The ability to use standard cleaning equipment and possess an understanding of the importance of following Health and Safety instructions/guidance
  • The ability to physically move, use and lift cleaning equipment and materials on a regular basis
  • You will be required to wear protective clothing/uniform in line with our uniform policy, details of which will be discussed at interview. In return, the university offers a generous annual leave package, including time off over Christmas, and an attractive pension scheme. This job is suitable for job sharing.
