  • About This Opportunity

    The Change and Business Readiness Consultant will play a key role in driving change and business readiness activities required to successfully deliver the final phase of the HCMS Program which involves the transition to new solutions for both Payroll and Workforce Management.

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Change Leadership: Champion change capability development within impacted groups, and coach and prepare business leaders for their role in supporting individuals and their teams through the change, whilst ensuring the change approach is aligned with UQ's change strategy and the program's goal.
  • Stakeholder Engagement/Communications: Actively network and seek feedback from key stakeholders to build credibility, enhance understanding and facilitate adoption of change activities, whilst working collaboratively with the UQ communications team to design, develop and deliver engaging, informative, and well-organised communications.
  • Change Impact: Analyse impacts on all stakeholder groups and collaboratively develop approaches for addressing change resistance and achieving support for change.
  • Training: Provide input and support the design and delivery of training programs to support the transition of individuals to the new way of working.
  • This is a full-time (100%), fixed-term position until 31 December 2025.

    At HEW level 8 , the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $108,975 - $122,176 , plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $127,500 - $142,946 annually. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.

    About You

    We are looking for an exceptional Change and Business Readiness Consultant with postgraduate qualifications (or progress towards completion) in Business, Change Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and experience. In addition, you will have:

  • Experience in consulting, partnering with and coaching leaders and stakeholders to deliver change outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the development of change communications, including the development of key messages and effective dissemination to diverse audiences using a variety of communication channels.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivery of outcomes, and a self-motivated, positive, and enthusiastic approach to achieving goals through effective team and individual work.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence resistant or change-adverse stakeholders and groups.
