Centre Communication Manager (Fixed Term)

Applications are invited for a full-time Centre Communication Manager to support the Minderoo Centre for Technology and Democracy (MCTD) hosted within CRASSH (Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities). This varied and responsible role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of this exciting research centre. The Centre Communication Manager will be responsible for establishing a multi-channel communication strategy on behalf of the Centre helping to raise the profile and impact on research activity.

The successful applicant will be educated to degree level in relevant subject/level 6 vocational qualification or equivalent level of practical experience. They will in addition to being able to use a web content management system have experience from a broad range of communications disciplines e.g. media, reputation management and stakeholder liaison. They will have experience from organising public engagement events and excellent communication skills, with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Fixed term: The funds for this post are available until 28 February 2025 in the first instance.
