Part-time Community or Workforce Education adjunct instructor for Continuing Education Department. Will teach courses for community, business and industry clients as needed. Participants may be minors and a background check is required.

This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.

Required Qualifications

Educational requirements will vary depending on the course being taught. In general must meet academic college adjunct faculty hiring requirements.

Must have experience in a specific education area applicable for personal enrichment, Business or Industry including but not limited to one or more of the following: personal and life enrichment skills, communication, customer service, human resources, information technology, leadership and supervision, operations management, sales and marketing, and technical training.

Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading., Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned (i.e., custodial, food services,) or to make general observations of facilities or structures (i.e., security guard, inspection). The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position. None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
