    The Opportunity

    The Assistant Grants Officer (Applications) provides a range of professional and high-quality administrative services to support the effective operation of the Applications Team within the Monash Research Office. This includes meeting the expectations of the Monash Research Office Service Charter and demonstrating excellent customer service standards.

    The Assistant Grants Officer provides administrative support for eligibility and compliance review of drafted funding applications, with a focus on excellence in process and judgement and provision of sound and timely advice and support to the Monash Research community.

    To be successful, you will have demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time and plan your work to meet deadlines, while working under pressure and maintaining a strong attention to detail. You must have well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with experience interacting with a diverse range of clients, coupled with the ability to respond positively when resolving issues. Prior experience working within a research environment in a university setting is highly desirable.
