Position Camp Counselor- Fine Arts (2023 Summer Employment)

Job Category Summer Job Description

Camp Counselors work with the Campus and Community Events Team in supervising campers enrolled in our residential and day summer camp programs. The successful counselor will be compassionate, vigilant, helpful and inspirational to the young women attending camps

Job Duties

  • Responsible each week for the supervision and safety of students, ages 10-16, in the residence hall, on field trips, and at all day/evening activities
  • Assist assigned instructor with (3) 75- minute classes and (1) 90-minute class per day
  • Responsible for assisting director/instructors with organized activities, talent shows, and evening performances
  • Responsible for assisting at registration, orientation and departure
  • Serve as a role model for young adults
  • Required attendance at a wrap-up session at the end of the program
  • Minimum Qualifications

    Mature college student and living on campus is a requirement for this position.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Camp experience helpful
  • Experience in supervising girls ages 10-17
