Offer DescriptionBackground of the recruitment and description of the project Background of the recruitment and description of the project 【Research areas】 Towards the significant advancement of next-generation information and communication systems, it is strongly desired to realize innovative quantum information and communication technologies that can break through the limitations of conventional technologies. For this purpose, it is essential to conduct research and development on optical quantum information and communication technology from devices to systems, which can generate, transmit, detect and process quantum information by utilizing the quantum nature of light. This laboratory is seeking an applicant who can advance research and education in optical quantum information and communication engineering, including technologies for generation, relay, storage, detection and control technologies of optical quantum states as well as optical quantum circuits that can implement these functions.
