  • An opportunity has arisen at Goldsmiths, University of London who are now looking for a Business Systems Developer to primarily support, develop and enhance our Business Systems for Recruitment, HR, Finance and Payroll functions.

    As a part of our team, you will work with top technology vendors and various users from across our departments to develop and support digital product solutions. These solutions aim to improve our processes, add value to our University operations, and enhance the user experience for staff.

    Your responsibilities will include keeping up-to-date with the latest vendor releases, researching new capabilities, participating in ongoing system projects, and configuring system integration. You'll also draft technical specifications, perform incident management analysis, and resolve problems to ensure a smooth digital experience for end users.

    The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with Business World - Unit4 ERP including the following modules: Financials (AP, AR, GL), Logistics. PCB, HR and Payroll
  • Ability to develop, support and implement new technologies and capabilities
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical people
  • Demonstrable problem-solving and solution skills
  • Able to deliver technical solutions in an AGILE environment.
  • Strong customer focus
  • Good SQL experience would be highly beneficial
  • The role will be an integral part of the Digital Products Team within the IT Digital Services department which is the beating heart of the organisation and provides software application support and technical services to the University.
