Estates and Facilities Management

Full time role, open ended.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Estates and Facilities Management who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly team player to join the Business Support Office as a Business Support Administrator.

The Estates and Facilities Management team now has over 700 colleagues who between us are responsible for projects, engineering, maintenance, sustainability, property, grounds, gardens, domestic services, catering, residential, and student accommodation. So, it's an exciting time to join the team and become part of the Loughborough Family. In this role, your tasks and responsibilities will vary as you support all the areas above and the variation makes the job exciting and rewarding with just the right amount of challenging. Estates and Facilities Management is an ever-changing department which is why we're looking for passionate, confident, and flexible people to join us in keeping the department functioning at its best.

Here's more about the role and what we're looking for:

As an excellent communicator, you will work closely with and support colleagues across the department, providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and ensuring policies and procedures are met. You should be confident in meeting minutes at a high level and have a willingness to learn and adapt to change. Applicants should have well-developed problem- solving skills and the ability to work flexibly and independently while managing their own workload. For this role, the successful candidate will require excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.

The post holder is required to have experience of multitasking and previous experience working in an office-based environment. Previous knowledge of the University systems for recruitment and procurement such as Agresso and ITrent are welcome, but not essential as full training will be provided .

Key Requirements:

· Ability to work to tight deadlines and on multiple projects

· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Demonstrate resilience and ability to plan and prioritise, while work on own initiative and dealing effectively with simultaneous demands

· Previous relevant experience of working in a busy customer focused office environment

· Understanding and experience of adhering to GDPR legislation and Data Protection Policy
