At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

    About the Role:

We're looking for someone to join our friendly supportive team at ARU as a Resilience & Reception Administrator. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure business continuity plans are in place across all ARU campuses and monitor progress against resilience action plans as well supporting related meetings. You'll also spend some of your day welcoming visitors via ARU Writtle reception, including ensuring campus safeguarding protocols are followed.

With a degree or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification at degree level or have demonstrable appropriate level of experience and CPD you will have recent experience of working in an Administrator role.

We're seeking someone with a proven track record in administrative roles, preferably within a Higher or Further Education environment. You should possess excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, and the ideal candidate will remain calm under pressure, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality. If you're ready to excel in a new and varied, customer-facing role while contributing to our team's success, we encourage you to apply.

Informal enquiries can be made to Dawn Taylor, Deputy Secretary (Compliance & Risk), at [email protected] or on 07595 414400, or Nick Morris, Head of Security and Emergency Planning, at [email protected] or on 07879 805242

The working pattern of the role is to be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.

It is expected that interviews will take place on 24 May 2024
