About the Role The Department of Business, Design, Media & ICT within Vocational Education are currently seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join the team. We are looking for a dedicated individual with specialist expertise and knowledge to manage, maintain, repair, and secure all audio-visual equipment and facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in researching, testing, and purchasing new equipment to support programs and learning activities in Screen and Media.
As our Audio Visual/Digital Technician, you will ensure all audio-visual equipment and facilities are functioning and available, as well as provide teacher support in the form of sign off on student equipment loans to ensure WHS equipment compliance to enable the effective delivery of all programs within the department. This is a hands-on role that requires regular lifting of equipment for transportation and storage purposes, and thorough knowledge and adherence to WH&S procedures is required.
We are seeking someone with a passion for AV technology, attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with all members of staff, students and external stakeholders to assist in course delivery and a variety of screen and media activities.
