Duties:Duties generally are routine in nature and decision-making is limited (e.g., may make routine decisions about assigned work in absence of immediate supervision.) May require some previous training, experience and/or knowledge.Essential
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Good communication and critical thinking skills. Teamwork: Build and maintain collaborative relationships to work effectively toward common goals, while appreciating diverse viewpoints and shared responsibilities. Ability to exercise sound judgment and professionalism. Positions may require knowledge and skills of computers and experience in providing customer service. Background knowledge or experience in sports and their environment is preferred.
Preferred Experience & Education:
Typically requires previous training and experience (e.g., one year). Some college or comparable experience may be necessary. Prior experience in sports, whether playing or having general knowledge of, specifically basketball/volleyball/hockey.
Required Experience & Education:
Applicants must be enrolled as a UAF student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.
UA Board of Regents' Policy P09.05.020 states that in order to be eligible for student employment, graduate and undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester of employment or have been enrolled the preceding semester for six or more credit hours, and demonstrate plans to enroll for six or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters.
Salary Information:
This is a student position; the position will pay $11.34 per hour.
