Duties and Responsibilities The Assistant Coach will help the head coach organize, develop, and implement a competitive NCAA Division I Track & Field program in compliance with NCAA and A10 Conference rules and regulations. This position will have coaching and recruiting responsibilities for mid-distance and distance.
  • Assists in practice planning, meet preparation, and athletic conditioning.
  • Assists in recruiting, daily practice, and travel arrangements for team competition.
  • Assists with organizing team/alumni fundraising, mailings, event, public relations and other assignments.
  • Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • One to three years of collegiate-level coaching experience in Cross Country/Track & Field.
  • Understanding of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations
  • Commitment to the mission of Jesuit higher education.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
