Position Summary:
The Office of the University Registrar at Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Associate University Registrar in Boca Raton, FL.
The Associate University Registrar provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for degree audit administration, academic systems, transfer articulation, and student success technologies within the Office of the Registrar. This position serves as the institutional expert for degree audit, academic planning, and related student information systems, ensuring the integrity of academic records, degree requirements, curriculum implementation, and transfer credit processes. The Associate University Registrar collaborates with academic and administrative partners across the University to leverage technology, data, and process improvement initiatives that support student success, retention, timely graduation, regulatory compliance, and effective academic operations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and five years of appropriate experience required.
Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills required.
Experience supervising professional staff and leading organizational, operational, or system-related change initiatives required.
Experience leading cross-functional projects involving Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, Information Technology, and student success initiatives required.
Knowledge of FERPA, accreditation standards, and higher education academic policies, procedures, and regulations required.
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in a Registrar's Office, academic records administration, student information systems, degree audit administration, curriculum management, academic planning systems, or related higher education administrative functions required.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Educational Leadership, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with Stellic, UAchieve, Degree Works, Transferology, CollegeSource TES, or similar academic planning, degree audit, and transfer articulation technologies.
Experience with Banner Student integrations involving curriculum management, catalog management, academic planning, scheduling, and related enterprise applications.
Experience in transfer articulation, statewide articulation agreements, Florida Statewide Course Numbering System (SCNS), and curriculum governance processes. Experience implementing curriculum changes, academic policies, and graduation requirements within enterprise student systems.
Experience using student success, degree audit, and analytics tools to evaluate student progression and support retention, persistence, and graduation initiatives.
Experience at a large public university.
Demonstrated experience administering and supporting degree audit systems (e.g., Stellic, UAchieve, Degree Works) and student information systems such as Ellucian Banner.
Salary:
$80,000 - $90,000 annually.
