Associate Project Director (at the rank of Administrative Assistant II/Executive Officer) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 526587) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two- year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good university degree with at least 5 years of work experience in the social and health sector or a related field. They should be competent communicators with a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to motivate their team members to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. Excellent command of English and Chinese, high interpersonal, organisational, time management, problem-solving skills, and appropriate IT knowledge are essential. Applicants with a proven track record in project management in end-of-life care or rehabilitation services would be advantageous.

The appointee will play a versatile role in assisting the project director in achieving the project goals of promoting and evaluating end-of-life care for persons with disabilities. They will be able to work independently while managing a team and utilize their excellent social skills to engage with external stakeholders and manage internal affairs. They have a range of tasks, including planning and managing the project, planning and supervising a team of training and research staff, and performing ad-hoc and non-routine tasks as required.
