Applicants with teaching and/or curriculum design experience are sought to teach and undertake subject development in the Associate Degree in Policing Practice. Utilising the resources of both a large residential police academy and a responsive and progressive university, the successful candidates will engage and teach students through face-to-face and online delivery modes whilst dedicating workload to professional industry liaison, and maintaining sound relationships with industry agencies at the NSW Police Force Academy. Staff will be enrolled in the fee-free postgraduate course, the Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (GCLTHE). This formal award allows academic staff the opportunity to undertake professional development to strengthen learning and teaching theory and practice and embed Charles Sturt values, policies, systems and frameworks.
