Business / Business with economics is a well- established subject in our PGCE Secondary portfolio and this is an exciting opportunity for a subject specialist in Business to join our team as an Associate Lecturer. In this context, the School of Education is seeking to appoint an inspirational and excellent subject specialist. The successful applicant will have responsibility for carrying out visits to trainees in their placement settings to include meetings with mentors and completing follow-up paperwork as well as checking the online trainee portfolios.

NB. If you are successful at interview you will be invited to join a pool of sessional lecturers and we will contact you if suitable work becomes available. We are not able to guarantee employment as it will be subject to student numbers. The number of hours available might only be a few hours per week. If only an element of this work if offered which does not involve additional preparation and administration a standard hourly rate will apply, currently £19.23 plus £4.23 holiday pay.
