    Working at CQUniversity

Are you passionate about making a difference in the field of domestic and family violence? Do you have a commitment to education and research? If so, we invite you to join our team as an Associate Lecturer in Domestic and Family Violence within the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences at CQUniversity.

The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences offers a range of vocational education and training certificates, and undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, across a number of health and other disciplines, via on- campus or flexible education with online study. There has been growth in recent years - in new courses, infrastructure and reputation - which has seen CQUniversity emerge as one of Australia's truly great universities.

The Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research (QCDFVR) is an entity within the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences - a leader in gendered violence studies whose academics are lauded for learning, teaching, research and community engagement. The domestic and family violence courses offer students a range of exciting developmental opportunities that are practice-focussed and delivered in an ultra-flexible learning environment.

QCDFVR contributes to the prevention of domestic and family violence by informing, promoting and supporting individual, community, service, and government action via state-wide leadership in research, professional development, education and community engagement. QCDFVR's applied research has a social impact in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, rural and regional communities.

As an Associate Lecturer, you will play a vital role in providing education services to stakeholders of the QCDFVR, as well as the broader School community. Your responsibilities will include delivering formal accredited education and non-accredited professional development programs, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and sustain QCDFVR's education focus, and aligning efforts with the strategic growth priorities of the School and CQUniversity.
