  • About This Opportunity

    The Associate Director, Program Delivery will be a key member of the Property and Facilities Division, responsible for leading the delivery of our diverse program of construction projects. You will ensure that these projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with UQ's values and safety standards.

    This pivotal role will oversee a large team of Senior Project Managers and Principal Project Officers, providing guidance and mentorship to staff, fostering collaboration across teams and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.

    About You

    You will have extensive experience in the construction industry with a strong project management background and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects. Experience establishing and guiding teams of professionals on major projects, with a focus on supporting and fostering their professional development.

    A strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence is essential along with a solid understanding of the SEQ construction market. Strong change management and problem-solving skills are crucial as is the ability to influence at senior levels while also working operationally within projects. You must be adept at balancing competing interests and escalate issues thoughtfully, providing clear recommendations.

    Additionally, you should hold an industry recognised qualification (e.g. RICS, COIB, AIPM, PMP).
