As Associate Director (Communications & Engagement), you will play a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections with our diverse stakeholders and in shaping our strategic communications plans, including demonstrating the impact of our research and innovation. With your strategic vision and creative flair, you will lead our talented internal and external communications professionals. These teams deliver excellent communications through strategic campaigns, news and media, social media, and staff and student engagement, with a clear focus on audience and outcomes.

The Associate Director (Communications & Engagement) has a lead role in raising the University's regional, national, and international profile, enhancing its reputation for research and teaching excellence.

This is an exciting time to join the University and we are looking for someone who can help us continue to build on our success, working collaboratively with colleagues across our Faculties, School, Advancement Office, Institutes, and more broadly to deliver our aims.

The post-holder reports to the Vice-President (External Relations).
